International Women's Day
As an organisation dedicated to the advancement of women in our community, we celebrate International Women's Day every year with a leadership-based focus — bringing together women from diverse backgrounds for an informative, inspiring, and fun-filled event.
IWD 2025 — Accelerate Action
Changepreneurs hosted another powerful International Women's Day event on 14th March 2025, bringing together community members, leaders, and change-makers to celebrate women's achievements and accelerate action toward gender equality.
The event featured guest speakers, panelists, and performances celebrating the diversity and strength of our community. An inspiring gathering that reinforced Changepreneurs' commitment to empowering women at every stage of their journey.
IWD 2024 — Count Her In
On the 16th of March 2024, members and friends of Changepreneurs gathered to celebrate IWD 2024 amidst camaraderie, a colourful ambience, food and drinks. The IWD 2024 theme focused on a global request to #InspireInclusion — when we inspire others to understand and value women's inclusion, we forge a better world.
IWD 2023 — Embracing Equity
Changepreneurs held an International Women's Day Breakfast event on 25th March 2023 with a leadership-based focus. The event brought together guest speakers Cr Jasmine Hill, Ning Bech, and Mamode Osikoya for an intergenerational discussion on equity, leadership, and community.
The event included guest speakers, interactive Q&A sessions with women in leadership, opportunities to meet people from diverse backgrounds, and a range of multicultural foods and drinks.
IWD 2022 — Hybrid Event
Changepreneurs hosted a hybrid International Women's Day event in 2022, bringing together community members both in-person and online. The event celebrated the achievements of women in our community and fostered connection across diverse backgrounds.
An incredible turnout of community members came together to celebrate, connect, and be inspired by the women in the Changepreneurs network.
She Rise
She Rise: Powerful Voices on Camera
Changepreneurs invites you to She Rise — a special lunch event celebrating powerful voices on camera. Enjoy a casual lunch, connect, and capture your story on camera with a professional videographer.

Multicultural Leadership Course
Changepreneurs in partnership with Australian Multicultural Community Services offered free pre-accredited online and face-to-face short courses for youth women, grassroots organisations and individuals.
Participants learned skills to navigate help for their community, start a not-for-profit organisation, activate community leadership qualities and strengthen their community participation.
Changepreneurs also focused on engaging participants from African-Australian backgrounds. Applications for the free course are now closed.
International Day of the Girl Child
Girls' Vision for the Future
Changepreneurs Inc hosted an event at Parliament House, Victoria on 11th October 2024 to celebrate the International Day of the Girl Child. The event brought together esteemed guest speakers, seasoned mentors, and dynamic girls and young women from diverse backgrounds.
Female leadership and representation is a key focus of Changepreneurs. Guest Speaker Lois Iheakor shared strategies for success and navigating culture and gender in leadership.
16 Days of Activism
A Call to Action Against Gender-Based Violence
As a proud female-led organisation, Changepreneurs actively participates in the annual 16 Days of Activism campaign initiated by the United Nations Women. Throughout this empowering period, we dedicate our platform to sharing incredible words of wisdom and quotes from inspirational women within our community.
Their voices are powerful catalysts for change, and together we can create awareness and stand against gender-based violence affecting women and girls worldwide.
Changepreneurs Retreat 2022
Leadership Retreat & Strategic Planning Day
The Changepreneurs mentees came together for a transformative leadership retreat and strategic planning day. This event fostered collaboration, creativity, and vision as participants engaged in dynamic discussions and workshops to enhance their leadership skills and strategic thinking.
By sharing diverse perspectives and innovative ideas, the mentees developed actionable plans to drive future initiatives, solidifying their commitment to making a meaningful impact in their communities. The retreat strengthened their bonds and empowered them to lead with confidence and purpose.
