Impact & Stories
Behind every number is a story of growth, resilience, and transformation. Meet the Changepreneurs making waves — one success story at a time.
Numbers that tell a story
At Changepreneurs, we measure impact not only by participation but by the confidence built, leadership developed, and opportunities created for young women and youth from African and culturally diverse backgrounds.
From mentees stepping into leadership roles to members and alumni pursuing careers, education, and community impact — these success stories reflect the power of mentorship, representation, and culturally responsive support.
Together, they represent a growing network of empowered individuals shaping stronger communities.
"At Changepreneurs, our work is grounded in measurable impact and lived transformation. A journey of confidence built, barriers broken, and leadership realised. These Changepreneurs are emerging leaders, changemakers, and community builders."

LegalVoices of change
Real words from real women whose lives have been transformed through Changepreneurs.
My journey with Changepreneurs has been truly enlightening. One of my biggest achievements has been launching my own start up as a young African Australian woman. The Changepreneurs community has provided me with incredible support and resources.
Emma began her leadership journey with Changepreneurs Inc. as a mentee in 2020 and is now Vice President, a role she earned through dedication and commitment. She has joined other organisations and actively drives initiatives to support African Australian youth.
My journey with Changepreneurs has been both enriching and rewarding. Prior to joining, I was seeking a platform that would mentor and support me in becoming the leader I had always aspired to be. I take pride in the progress and achievements I have made.
My journey with Changepreneurs has been one of growth, support, and success. Through Changepreneurs, I've become more open in sharing my personal and professional challenges. It's a supportive and empowering community of women who uplift one another.
My journey with Changepreneurs has been one of growth through connection. It has pushed me outside of my comfort zone and allowed me to build meaningful relationships. Changepreneurs inspired me to apply for my Master of Social Work, and I was supported and given guidance throughout the program.
Being a part of Changepreneurs has opened up my social connections and given me access to career mentorship. A youth lead in Changepreneurs. Access to career mentorship, including supporting and building my confidence in public speaking, which I had great difficulty with before. Being among the right people will take you places you can't go alone. Iron sharpens iron, and it takes a village.
As I reflect on my journey with Changepreneurs, the word that comes to mind is support! Initially, I had no mentor, network or influence. But right from the beginning of my journey with Abi as a mentee, I have received continuous support, encouragement, and guidance. I have since graduated from law studies, obtained admission in AUS and NZ, and am now practising as a criminal defence barrister in New Zealand. I am now a proud member of Changepreneurs.
The founder of Changepreneurs, Abi, supported me when I moved to Melbourne to explore a passion of mine. She is amazing and always creates spaces for ladies to blossom in their craft. I would encourage people to join Changepreneurs because this is a community of ladies supporting ladies, and you'd be glad to be part of it.
My journey with Changepreneurs has been transformational. It has stretched me beyond just being a high-performing professional into becoming a more intentional leader and voice within my community.
Gratitude and appreciation are words that I can use to describe Changepreneurs. You get the opportunity to be in a room with people you would ordinarily not have opportunities to be with. There's always a mentor to hold your hand, and you have people who you can always count on. I am now a qualified lawyer and a board member of a non-profit in New Zealand.
My journey with Changepreneurs can be described as a true sense of community. Changepreneurs have supported me through various events and opportunities. Hearing the diverse stories and experiences of others has been both fascinating and inspiring. It's a great way to connect with a diverse group of women and grow your network.
